W\u00e4hrend der Dreharbeiten bemerken sie, dass immer mehr Mitarbeiter der Crew verschwinden, doch es sind alles nur Leute, die hinter den Kulissen arbeiten und somit kann und muss weitergedreht werden. Am n\u00e4chsten Drehtag erfahren sie, dass das Produktionslabel die Zahlungen f\u00fcr &#8222;Head Shopper 2&#8220; eingestellt hat. Entt\u00e4uscht verl\u00e4sst das Filmteam den Drehort und wird auf dem Weg zum Hotel auch von denselben Terroristen entf\u00fchrt, die Professor Lovegroove in der Gewalt haben. Die Wissenschaftler titulieren das Tier kurzerhand Piranhaconda und stellen dann fest, dass es offenbar vor kurzem erst Eier gelegt hat. Der gierige Professor Lovegrove (Michael Madsen) sieht seine Chance gekommen, einen Piranhaconda in Gefangenschaft aufzuziehen und alle Stadien des Wachstums aus erster Hand mitzuerleben, was ihm unter Forschern gro\u00dfe Anerkennung bringen w\u00fcrde.
